Loud suits, Miss Universe Australias and a very different style – Wagga Gold Cup in 2011 style was a year to remember. We’re taking trips down memory lane as cup week gets well and truly under way for 2021. Racegoers are keen to get back to the city’s premier meet for the first time in two years, after the 2020 race day went ahead without a crowd when the COVID-19 pandemic forced the Murrumbidgee Turf Club to close the gates to the public. In other news The cup was still run and won, and organisers got creative with a virtual fashions on the field continuing on Instagram.
