We’re all gonna die. There’s plenty of uncertainty in the world these days, but if there’s one thing we can be pretty darn sure of, it’s the fact that one day we will cark it. Before I became a journalist I studied actuarial science which, to simplify, is the study of risk. The first actuaries worked for life insurance companies, who wanted to know exactly how likely a person will be to die.
