Carabost crash leaves truck driver in hospital | The Daily Advertiser

A truck driver is in hospital after crashing on a logging road in Carabost, less than 30 minutes drive from Tumbarumba. The truck rolled to its side at around 3.20pm on Monday, prompting calls to Tumbarumba Fire and Rescue NSW. The road condition was slippery at the time of the crash, due to that afternoon’s rainfall. IN OTHER NEWS: Riverina Zone Commander Stewart Alexander said police and paramedics arrived afterwards to the scene of the crash. “The driver was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and transported to hospital,” Superintendent Alexander said. “Fire and Rescue NSW firefighters dealt with a minor diesel spillage and were on scene until 7:50 pm when the truck was salvaged.” Hazmat crews…
